Pratt in Tuscany
I attended the 'Pratt in Tuscany' summer program in Lucca,
Italy from 4 June to 17 July, 2001.
I was happy to meet these young American friends in the program.
They were energetic and a joyful lot.
Besides drawing and painting,
I also taught a group of 17 year-old Italian senior high school students.
A trip to Spain
I went to Spain after Tuscany with a friend who came all the way from Singapore to meet up with me in Lucca.
We decided to give ourselves a treat. We stayed in five star hotels and took sumptuous meals at upmarket restaurants.
Architectural Trail
We visited Frank Ghery's Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and Richard Mier's Modern Art Gallery in Barcelona.
We also visited all the popular tourist spots in addition to our own architectural trail.
